ENERGYFLEX VENTURES LLC
Intro
Will you generate electricity on the coldest winter nights or hottest summer days?
Many power plants receive natural gas "just in time" via pipelines. They have little to no fuel storage. Not even many "black start" power plants.
Winter storms disrupt gas pipeline deliveries. Natural gas storage at power plants enhances electricity security.
EnergyFlex Ventures can help you permit, build, and operate LNG and PLNG fuel storage which can power your electricity for days.
We bring “Energy Storage as a Service”

Regional Power Reliability
WINTER STORM URI
• 200+ fatalities
• Texas, February, 2021
WINTER STORM ELLIOTT
• 10 Bcf/d knocked offline.
• North East US, December, 2022
CYBER ATTACK
• Colonial Pipeline, May 7 to 15, 2021.
• 10,600 stations without gasoline on May 18
ERCOT “Conservation Appeal”
• Summer 2023 and January 2024
Solution
Gas Storage for better Electrical Grid Resilience
-
Liquified Natural Gas (LNG)
-
Proven technology widely deployed for decades for gas distribution
-
Proven paths to obtaining permits using conventional bullets and tanks
-
LNG by truck for up to 50 MW power generation capacities
-
Produce LNG on site for 100 to 1000+ MW, can consider trucked LNG sales.
-
-
Pressurized Liquified Natural Gas (PLNG) at 10 to 16 atmospheres / bar-g.
-
30-45 % less energy than LNG
-
Reduced GHGe (Scope 1 by 90+%, Scope 2 by 25-35%) versus
unpressured LNG
-
